“Zeupiter?” we both say out loud.

Adonis and I follow the signs for Godlympians. I have to admit, it’s kind of cool! Whoever thought I’d be a Godlympian? The only thing I’ve ever been good at isn’t very sporty. . . .

But check me out! I’m a world-class athlete now!

When we reach the gym, we find the floor lined with cots. I’m about to drop my bag next to one of them when Coach Gluteus Maximus stops me.

“Sorry, Oddonis, but these cots are for Godlympians only,” he says.

“I am a Godlympian,” I protest.

“Well, sort of,” says the coach. “You’re an assistant Godlympian.”

“An assistant Godlympian?” I ask. “What does that mean?”

“It means you bring snacks to the Godlympians.”

AGAIN WITH THE SNACKS!!!

“But I’ve been training for weeks!”

“Yes, you have,” replies Coach. “And now you’ll be able to deliver those snacks in no time!”

“You mean to tell me I pushed a boulder up a hill every day for snack duty?”

“Pretty much,” Coach says. “Exciting, isn’t it?”

“Not really!” I cry. “So where is my cot?”

“In the assistants’ quarters,” he says. “Right over there.”
